BITZER and Green Point Partner to Offer R744 Training at RMIT

Melbourne, Australia – September 1, 2024: BITZER Australia and Green Point, leading experts in refrigeration technology, have joined forces to offer practical training on R744 (carbon dioxide) refrigerant at RMIT University’s cutting-edge TCO2 facility in Melbourne.

This collaboration aims to equip industry professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize R744, a natural refrigerant with a low global warming potential (GWP). As the world transitions towards more sustainable refrigeration solutions, R744 is gaining popularity due to its environmental benefits.

The training program will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • R744 properties and applications: Understanding the characteristics and suitability of R744 in various refrigeration systems.
  • System design and installation: Learning best practices for designing and installing R744 systems.
  • Operation and maintenance: Acquiring knowledge of the proper operation and maintenance of R744 systems.

The RMIT TCO2 facility provides a state-of-the-art environment for hands-on training, allowing participants to gain practical experience with R744 systems.
